Ingredients

  • 1 cup Detox Whole Plant Juice, divided
  • 1 tablespoon tapioca flour
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoon agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (opt)

  3. When it reaches a boil, add juice and flour mixture pot. Reduce heat to a low simmer for 10 minutes. The mixture will start to bubble up and thicken up.
  4. Remove pan from heat and let cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve over waffles, french toast, or pancakes. This syrup can be stored in your refrigerator for up to a week and frozen for up to 4 months.

Notes

  • This recipe will work well with our Viva Whole Plant Juice as it also contains Aronia Berries.
  • Try different berries! Strawberries, raspberries, elderberries, blackberries, or even a mixture of berries!
  • For a smoother syrup, add it to a blender.
  • Maple syrup or coconut nectar would work in place of agave nectar or whatever natural sweetener you have on hand.
  • If you don’t have tapioca flour you can use cornstarch.
