Description

Sweet cinnamon satisfaction! That’s what these mini bagels are! With simple, whole ingredients, a batch of these tasty treats are easy and quick to whip up and enjoy! These bagels are powered with our whole plant smoothie, Empower! The beautiful aroma of sugar and spice is from the sweetly spiced cinnamon in our nourishing drink! It’s warming, comforting, and delightful! We know you will enjoy these bagels as much as we do! Pair with a hot cup of coffee or should we suggest a warmed cup of Pro-Fit, a chocolatey delight? Oh, we are getting hungry just thinking about it! Time to go bake some bagels!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon into a large mixing bowl. Whisk together until well combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients – KARUNA’S EMPOWER, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and brown sugar. While whisking the dry mixture, slowly whisk in the wet mixture until a dough starts to form. Using your hands, finish combining the mixture and knead until the dough is smooth (5 minutes).

  4. Divide the mixture evenly into six portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a thin log that is ¾” in diameter. Connect the ends and pinch together to seal the seams. Place on the lined tray.

  5. Bake for 28-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.

  6. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Brush the tops with oil and dip into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Enjoy immediately or store in an air-tight container for up to 5 days.
