St. Louis, Mo. (May 24, 2022) — Karviva™ is excited to announce that Founder and CEO Angela Zeng, PhD, has been accepted into the 2022 CVS Health & Roger Williams University Executive Learning Series for diverse suppliers.
The innovative program, which kicks off June 15th, is a business development training program to help CVS Health diverse-owned suppliers develop critical skills in finance, leadership, and technology. Dr. Zeng created her plant-based smoothie company, Karviva (formerly Karviva Beverage), in 2017. Zeng was born and raised in China before moving to the United States to pursue her advanced degree in pathology and her MBA. Karviva is an international award-winning company that creates protein smoothies, antioxidant juices, healthy sports drinks and a unique, functional wine replacement beverage.
The CVS Heath & Roger Williams University Executive Learning Series comprises four months of online instruction, executive coaching, workshops office hours, a capstone presentation, and networking opportunities.

The Executive Learning Series is a cornerstone program in CVS Health’s ongoing focus on supplier diversity. This is the 8th year for the program which includes more than 100 minority and women owned business leaders.
