(August 18, 2022) — Karviva™ is excited to announce Founder and CEO Angela Zeng, PhD, is being recognized as one of the St. Louis Business Journal’s “Most Influential Business Women” of 2022. With the help of past winners, the Journal reviewed nearly 150 nominations in selecting its 24th class of Most Influential Business Women.
“It is such an honor to be recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal,” says Zeng, “We have worked really hard this year expanding Karviva’s reach into new retail avenues and building a strong business advisory board.”
The award, established in 1999, annually recognizes remarkable women who excel in careers in the business arena. The 25 accomplished business leaders represent a variety of industries across the region, as well as having made an impact at area nonprofit organizations and in their own communities.
Angela was nominated by “Common Ground PR” who wrote in its nomination, “Angela is a staunch believer in doing things right – creating a hydroponic garden for bean sprouts to ensure control over one of the most important ingredients in her drinks, as well as using up to 90% less water. She sources organic produce from throughout the Midwest and blends her recipes in small batches under close supervision. All of the ingredients are used thoroughly to ensure almost no food waste and her products are packaged in BPA-free, level 1 recyclable bottles. The company is Certified Women Owned as well as Certified Asian-Owned.”
In the last year, Karviva and its wellness drinks have been nationally and internationally recognized.
