Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 15 ounce can tomato puree (note 2)
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 1/4 cup Rejuvenate and Goji Berry Whole Plant Juice (note 1)
  • 6 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1/2 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

    Add olive oil in your Instant Pot. Press, “Saute’, and heat until oil is hot.

    Place lid on Instant Pot. Set vent to, “Seal.” Press manual and set time for 10 minutes. The pressure takes about 5 minutes to rise before it starts to pressure cook.

    When finished, do a quick release and allow steam to escape. Serve with your favorite grilled recipes!

Note

Joy D Peach, Mandarin, & Kiwi Whole Plant Juice would work great for this recipe as well!

Make sure you are using tomato puree and NOT tomato sauce or pasta sauce.
