Karviva’s Founder, Angela Zeng, Continues to Share Her Experience as an Entrepreneur and Diverse Business Leader

‘Karviva’ directly translates to compassion in Buddhism, and for Karviva, that means making health and wellness more accessible and convenient. Karviva’s founder and CEO, Angela Zeng, has made it her company’s mission to guide people along a better path to wellness and that includes aligning with like-minded organizations to share how diversity in experience, cultures and cuisines can enrich and enhance lives.

Compassion for mind, body and earth extends to a dedication to doing good for others; Angela continues to tap into her experience as an entrepreneur, immigrant and diverse business leader in hopes that others may be similarly inspired to make positive contributions to the world and communities in which we all live.

Recently, Angela visited the campus of Rung for Women, an organization that empowers women to grow and achieve sustained independence through co-located and coordinated educational, professional, and economic resources, along with new St. Louis Mayor Tishaura O. Jones and the team from the PBS series, Food is Love. The representative trio discussed their collective visions for uniting local communities and will be featured on an episode in Season 2 of Food is Love this fall, where they explore food as a unifying force in opening hearts and minds to new ideas, cultures and experiences.

Additionally, this June 20, Angela will be a featured speaker at the Emerge 2021 Gala in Houston, Texas. Emerge is an event  to celebrate the emergence of refugees in their adopted countries as they navigate a great deal of challenges and cultural nuances while working towards becoming positive contributors to the overall success of their adoptive countries. As an immigrant herself, Angela can relate to the obstacles many refugees face and will share how she tapped into her rich cultural history to create a successful brand that stays true to her personal beliefs and brings an opportunity for wellness and inspiration to others.
